International Development Cooperation

A set of actions carried out by public and private organisations, including bodies from civil society, contributing to human and sustainable development, reducing poverty, and the full exercise of rights in a fairer society.

It sets out to promote global, sustainable, inclusive and equal economic and social progress, advocating autonomy, dignity, justice and equality for citizens.

This must be implemented via collaboration models based on a horizontal approach, mutual interest, transparency and accountability so as to forge alliances in which developing countries and donors work according to shared responsibility.
